Year 4 Geography

This afternoon, Year 4 were exploring different types of maps and their use. What can your child tell you about maps?

Y6 Art

Today we are starting our Art topic based on animals. Our topic is linked nicely to our Science (living things) and our English (War Horse).

We are looking closely at animal skin/fur and recreating the detail using different materials.

The weather was so nice so we went outside.

Year 5 sketching in Cromer

Year 5 walked into Cromer this morning and visited the seafront.  The challenge was to use skills we had learnt in lessons like shading, cross hatching and scumbling (ask the children what this means!) to create a sketch of a landscape.  The children had to concentrate, work carefully and use their skills to create their masterpiece.
